I haven't been very good at this lately.
I do check everyone's blog fairly regularly and I love reading about all of our different lives but I have not been good about blogging myself. I think there is always that thought that I am not as interesting. But whatever, I am going to blog anyway.I can hardly believe it but we are already on Christmas break, mmm hmm, excuse me, holiday break. This had to be the easiest week imaginable because we had a snow day on Monday and Tuesday was our last day. A quick and very busy Tuesday trying to get everything done and cleaned up before our 2 weeks off. Yes 2 weeks off is very exciting. My work is very different from last year. New school, new principal and new position. Very different. I am working with special ed children all day. They range from cognitively impaired and non-verbal to emotionally impaired and everything in between. It was so exciting to have Fawn here over Thanksgiving because I got to share that with her. Speaking of which, I had so much fun with Fawn and I think she should come back very soon! In fact, everyone is welcome to come visit. I think Michigan has a lot to see, some of which I would love to see with someone because I haven't even been very many places yet. So come visit!
I have also been learning new things this year outside of work. I decided to try to play hockey so I now play on a women's league nearby. Hockey is hard! I am not a graceful person but I am trying. You can really tell the coordinated and graceful people on the ice. They look coordinated and graceful on skates too! I have also learned to knit and crochet. Something to do with my hands. I have heard a lot of jokes about learning hockey and knitting but we all need balance in out lives right? Something like that.
Just a few days ago, my brother and I bought tickets to come to Montana for Christmas. I think you could call that procrastination. Although we were not originally going to go to MT we are now because my other brother has mono and doesn't want to go anywhere. Party pooper. I do have some hope that maybe I will get to see some of my friends (hint, hint) although I know that may be difficult because I will only be home for a week. But hey I have hope. So Merry Christmas everyone and for the rest of you Happy Holidays.
