Coffee
I have become a coffee drinker. Actually, I have been for years. So I have become a coffee maker. I blame my dad. See he got a new espresso machine so he sent me his old one. It is a nice Starbucks machine and at the beginning of the school year Matt was very excited and would make us lattes almost every morning. Of course these were good even though I bought skim milk and sugar free flavoring to try to keep them, umm not as fattening. Anyway, with cross country and busier schedules we have pretty much stopped with the lattes but now I make a pot of coffee in the morning. I really enjoy bringing my bright red travel mug to school with me everyday and I miss it when I am running too late to grind and brew. Yes our coffee machine is not up to par with our espresso machine. There is one button on the machine, on/off. I have been tempted to buy a better machine, like one with a timer, but I am having a hard time admitting that I have a coffee drinking problem. Hi my name is Erin and I am addicted to a nice hot cup of breakfast blend Starbucks coffee with a shot of vanilla caramel creamer in my bright red travel mug every morning.

I feel like I should say "Hi Erin" to your confession. You have to admit the smell of coffee in the coffee pot is great. Now it is the season for peppermint creamer!
I have looked for peppermint creamer but can't find it yet!
welcome to the wonderul number of coffee lovers everywhere!! You will find that like smokers (who are very sypmathetic to other smokers), coffee drinkers are sympathetic and friendly to other coffee drinkers---it makes kindred spirits, really.
Jeff put it well the other day that coffee is "liquid encouragement."
Colleen helps me grind coffee daily and she loves to smell it after it is ground. I hope I am not turning my daughter into a young coffee addict. I used to buy starbucks lattes, but then I got to the point of just being able to have a hot cup of plain coffee is soooo satisfying and a lot cheaper. I have also discovered that Dunkin Donut's coffee beans are pretty good. You should buy a bag sometimes. And instead of a glass of wine, I would rather have some coffee and baileys now. mmmmm. I think I need to go make some coffee. "DRINK COFFEE!!" That will be our new bumper sticker.

emily, I haven't tried the new mint chocolate baileys, but my first thought was I bet it would be good in hot chocolate.
Oh yes, coffee. And once you start liking just coffee black you start LOVING the good ol' Americano. Its just a nice cup of strong stuff that taste so good! I love the Americano. I haven't tried the turbo Americano at double shot yet... see, americano is espresso and hot water.. the turbo americano is espresso and drip coffee... oh my my.
