I met someone...
He is from Pocatello, Idaho. How strange is that? He is very friendly and nice and cute and a little bit shy. Too bad he is in eighth grade!! Ha ha ha! So here is the weird story. My principal and his wife lived and taught in Montana and Idaho before moving to Michigan. Earlier this week, we had the middle school classes come over and read to the elementary students. My prinicpal's wife is an eighth grade teacher and she brought her class to my room. She walked in and promptly told everyone that I was special because I was from MT and ID and then pulled this poor kid over to meet me because he moved to Michigan from Pocatello also. It was funny and strange at the same time. I think that is what got my principal interested when he got my resume last summer. He graduated from the University of Montana and taught in northern Idaho and says that he hasn't ever met anyone who also lived in both states. Just a weird coincidence.
