Ahh summer...

Summer officially started yesterday. Although I was at school most of the day today trying to make all of the stuff that I had for the biggest room imaginable fit into the smallest room possible. I have been trying to think of what I will be doing now that I don't have school. I was working 12 hours the last couple of weeks so it has been an abrupt change. So here is a bit of what I will be doing to fill the summer. All of those appointments I have been putting off, eye, dentist, allergist. I am meeting with a realtor to possibly look at a few places tomorrow. I am also going strawberry picking tomorrow at an orchard with a friend and her 2 kids. I will be watching those 2 kids occasionally throughout the summer. Hmm, I haven't done laundry in about a month (yeah pretty bad) so I can do that as well as organize my closet. I am dog sitting for a week. My parents are coming to visit the first week in July and I may join them in Glacier for a week. My brother just bought a house in Cleveland that needs a lot of work. I agreed to help him pick out paint and flooring and those kind of details. I need to move my stuff from MT to MI but I am not exactly sure how yet. I also want to come and visit in ID for a little while. I have big plans to see some sights in Michigan like Mackinac Island and bridge. My favorite place here is Lake Michigan so I am going to have to go there a few times. I am going to try to learn how to skate this summer so that I can start in a beginner adult hockey league in the fall. I don't have the best ice skate coordination but I am trying. Then I have a meeting for school in the middle of August. That is when I will be trying to oganize my closet-sized classroom so that I can fit in there with a few kids instead of just stuff like right now. I am sure the summer will go very quickly even though it may feel like it is moving slowly. My class gave me a large end of the year gift so here is a picture of us opening it.

despite your decreased work hours, it sounds as though you'll have plenty to keep you busy. :)

i hope your summer is a fun one.

Your summer sounds pretty busy to me. Better make some time to read a book or something :)
