I'm excited!
Right now I am relaxing, on the couch, next to the pretty Christmas tree, watching Little Women, with a bowl of popcorn, and knitting another hat. It is so cold outside that I do now want to leave the house even though I know I have so much to do. We have only one more week of school before break! And then...I am going to Chile! As in South America! Yes I am excited! My parents, Chris and I are flying down next Sunday and staying for nearly 2 weeks. I am so excited to go but stressed about all that I need to do before I leave. And yet here I sit, on the couch, next to the pretty Christmas tree, watching Little Women, with a bowl of popcorn, and knitting another hat. My excuse is that this hat is a Christmas gift and I need to finish it before I leave for someone here. I haven't started packing, actually I just started thinking about packing today. It is summer down in Chile right now, apparently it is about 90 degrees. However, we have plans to go down to the southern part of the country so it will be very cold during our stay as well. We are going to a national park with glaciers near the southern most part of the country. I am so excited!

I bet you will have so much fun!! And it sounds like the perfect Saturday start to me - maybe cause I had that last Saturday (think I even blogged about Little Women too!)

WOW! Cool! I think you will like it. If the elevation is anything like Peru's, make sure you drink lots of water to avoid altitude sickness. Are you staying with that exchange student's family? She was from Chile, right?
Erin, you make me laugh because you were always so relaxed when it came time to stressful times. So I can just imagine you sitting there just relaxin! HAve fun. My parents are going on a 30 day cruise around the entire border of South America and even the tip of the Antarctic (or whatever it is down there). Have fun.
