My Mom's present
I had no idea what to get for my mom this year. Absolutely none. One thing I have always wanted to do is get a good picture of my brothers and I for her but it hasn't ever worked out with coordinating schedules and getting us all in the same place at the same time. But we decided to try this year. We got to Seattle on Friday and had an appointment on Saturday morning at Sears to get some pictures taken. The last time that we had pictures done of all three kids was when I was about five. That is 20 years ago! They turned out better than I thought. We managed to pick out clothes that worked well together even though we didn't plan it. And everyone smiled nice too. The photographer would giggle every time that she took a picture. I think that we were funny looking. Anyway here are a couple...

Very good looking family. Your pictures look good and I am sure you were laughing while doing it so maybe that's why the photographer laughed. remember when we did roommate pictures at Sears?

So I have a question: did your mother cry when she opened them?
Ha ha. My mom didn't cry because all she got to see was that preview print sheet. The small pictures of all of the poses. The real pictures will be at the store in Seattle on the 9th. Unfortunately they don't ship them anywhere! So I have to be really nice and ask my uncle to pick them up and mail them to me. My mom did keep looking at the pictures and making sure they were not set down to get ruined anywhere. She also kept saying how nice they were. So I think she really liked them. :)
