disgusting
Second week of school and we already had a cold running through many classrooms. A gross cold. Lots of green and slime. So my funny for today (although it is rather gross) is about sneezing. One of my students kept sneezing. Every time that he sneezed I found a palm-sized puddle on my table. Sick! Not green thank goodness, but gross nonetheless.Another gross funny is about another body function. I have a student on a feeding tube. Meaning she is unable to vomit, burp, or swallow anything. A crazy set of challenges for feeding her. Anyway, because this students ends up with a lot of air in her stomach, we have to vent it out of her feeding tube. Like all of us, some air gets into her intestines. When we try to get air out of her feeding tube, we have to push on her abdomen. If you can imagine, pushing on someone's abdomen that much will push a lot of that air out. This little girl farts and farts and farts. I have never seen (or heard) anything like it! She can put everyone to shame with her "toots".

Grossness on the table....Yuck!
yes, that is pretty nasty. yesterday i got to wipe up poop from all over the bathroom...fun times
